Caught Up

Being sick has been a total bummer... but I am finally caught up! Those of you who have been patiently waiting on your galleries.... THANK YOU! You have new e-mails - if you did not get it please send me a note.

I had the virus for a week, but as Madeleine's grandfather pointed out... when you get older, bouncing back takes longer. Getting old is no fun. School is wrapping up and my daughter graduated from Kindergarten this week. Aren't kindergarten teachers the best? Her little program was so special. It all hit home when on one side it said Kindergarten class of 2007 and the other side Class of 2019.

Johnny and April

I'm really late at posting these sneak previews. This is the wedding that happened right in my own back yard.

An intimate wedding amongst family and friends. The bride's favorite color was purple and it was sprinkled throughout the ceremony, attire, flowers, and cake. The groom almost evaporated in front of our eyes. It had sprinkled just an hour before the ceremony and then gloriously the sun came out during the vows and butterflies flew on cue. It was a magical moment no one could plan and it was PERFECT.

I loved how much fun the bride's daughters had with their mom. How relaxed and confident the groom's son was (Moms better watch their girls - my six year old daughter has the hugest crush on him. He's gonna be a lady killer!).

Congratulations Johnny and April! It was a privilege to share our home on your special day.

I'm Back!!!

Hello!!! I'm BACK!!!

Thanks for the sweet notes and e-mails from everyone. For a little ol' virus it knocked me out pretty good. I'll be busy catching up over the next few days. I'll be posting some wedding images tonight from a wedding at MY HOUSE. I guess that's a creative way to get a photography job :)
