~wishing~
It's been a long weekend of creating countless images. I think my kitchen chair will be left with a permanent impression.
Those are my daughter's little hands. And I know what she is wishing though she doesn't tell me... it's the constant that never changes. It's what she tells Santa Claus she really really wants for Christmas. It's what she thinks when she closes her eyes and blows out the candles....
It's to see her daddy one last time.
There's no face, no smile, no six year old just got out of bed hair. But when I review this image- this is what I see, this is what I think, this is what I know. It's an image with immense power to me. To you it might just be a dandelion. To me it's a six year old mourning her father - negotiating with the wind for one more chance. Pretty powerful stuff.
Hope you all had great weekends. Thanks for checking in and Be Good!
